Based upon this recipe.
- 9g Hefe Paket
- 200mL lauwarmes Wasser
- 2tl Senf
- 1tl Salz
- 4EL Alsan
- 4EL Mehl
- 2EL Polenta
- Hefe im Wasser auflösen (extra Schüssel)
- Mit scharfem Senf und Salz einrühren
- Alsan im Topf erhitzen bis aufgelöst
- Mehl dazurühren, Hefegemisch dazu, dann Polenta (gut verrühren)
- Das Ganze noch einmal kurz erhitzen

- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1/2 cup bread crumbs
- Several tablespoons finely chopped parsley (or try other herbs like thyme, oregano, etc.)
- Garlic (to taste)
- Mustard (either powder or mixed with the oil — to taste)
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground pepper
- Heat the oil over medium flame in a small sauté pan.
- Add the bread crumbs, salt and pepper, and stir, cooking until crumbs have absorbed the oil.
- Add the parsley and cook another few minutes, until crumbs turn a golden brown.
- Remove from pan and serve as a topping to pasta dishes, salads, etc.
